The Producers
There is a less famous and sometimes unknown Umbria that stretches across the southwestern part of the region and is furrowed by the Nera and Tiber rivers, protected by the Amerini Mountains.
Here in the territory known as ‘Amerino’ precisely, lives a community of small producers to be discovered: wineries, oil mills, farms that regulate the landscape around and form a small universe to be enjoyed with the eyes and the palate.
This community has decided to resist the standardizing dynamics of the market by choosing quality over quantity and trying as much as possible to put work at the center of existential choices that are compatible with well-being, nature and its rhythms.
Due to their climate, orography and traditions, Amerino products possess uniqueness and identity, values that the farmers and ranchers of this area, with care and passion keep alive.
For some of them the choice to work the land was a natural assumption of responsibility towards tradition, for others a real change of life. However, all of them belong to the community of ‘researchers’ of tradition, all of them welcome the visitor who wishes to get to know them, with truth and simplicity, showing the best of their land in a ‘typically’ natural setting.
They are the producers of Amerino Tipico.
